“ICARUS” This work depicts the ancient myth of Icarus and his fall -the quest for the unreachable and the sacrifices attached to this pursuit.

“SNAKE EATER” (Oil paint on wood panel ) Painting of a sculpture holding a snake wrapped around its left arm. This piece represent mankind’s destruction; the consumption of the endangered animal species depicts his bottomless hunger for more.

Born in Strumica, Macedonia in1959, Robert Dandarov is an interdisciplinary artist who works across various mediums in the style of “Macedonian Noir”.
