“A vertical painting of a young black girl placing her hands on her face covering the mouth. Race is a social concept its not part of our DNA. Race is natural, racism is not because all people alive today who are Africans, believe it or not. That’s how everything started. Our skin becomes a problem when we have to look at ourselves before attaining certain hight or achievement in life. Then we kill ourselves, inherit and endorse what the white skin says concerning our black skin. This corrections must be made psychologically and the freedom has to come from inside out that while I tittle this work “wailing”.”-Udoakang Promise Peters
